Park entry (official data)
CONAF announced that a new fee system has been in force since May 1, 2026: there is a daily entry and a 2 or more days entry, valid over a continuous period of up to 10 days, and the only official purchase channel is pasesparques.cl. We do not publish the amount in Chilean pesos because we could not confirm it in an official source: check it on the official channel before you buy. For the W circuit and the Base Torres trail, the winter regulation requires a licensed guide.
Border crossing
Departures from El Calafate involve crossing from Argentina into Chile by land: bring your passport or the document that applies to your nationality. We do not publish border crossing hours because the sources we checked contradict each other; verify them with the immigration authorities.
